Sophomore Lydia Cranmer named OAC Women's Golfer of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Lydia Cranmer (Farmington Hills, Mich./Ladywood) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 18-24.
Cranmer fired a final round career-low 74 to win Medalist honors and lead the Ohio Northern women's golf team to victory at the 8-team Bluffton Fall Classic Saturday and Sunday.
The Polar Bears (19-1 overall) finished with a 345-342—687 to edge Franklin (Ind.) by three strokes.
Cranmer was in third place after Saturday's first round with an 11-over par 83 at the Bluffton Golf Club, but fired a 2-over par 74 on Sunday at Hidden Creek Golf Club to win Medalist honors by three shots over Megg Hensler of Franklin and Kaitlyn Cook of Manchester (Ind.)
She tied her previous 36-hole low score with her 83-74—157.
This was Cranmer's fourth tournament title in 11 career tournaments and her second in three outings this fall.
She has now been named the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week three times in her career.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their fall season Sept. 29-30 with a dual meet with Ohio Wesleyan at the North Star GC in Sunbury.
