This Weekend's Tournament: The Ohio Northern women's golf team will travel to central Ohio to compete in the Ohio Wesleyan Fall Invitational, a 36-hole stroke play tournament ... ONU, Heidelberg, Wooster and Ohio Wesleyan will tee off in a 2 pm shotgun-style start on Saturday and an 8 am shotgun start on Sunday ... The Polar Bears opened their 2017-18 season last weekend by winning the 3-team ONU Fall Classic at Colonial Golfers Club ... Freshman Lydia Cranmer teed off her collegiate career in style, winning Medalist honors with an 82-84—166 to win the individual title by five strokes over junior teammate Suzanne Short, who carded a solid 79-92—171 to finish second of 20 golfers ... Junior Caitlin Silva completed a 1-2-3 ONU finish with an 86-86—172 and sophomore Taylor Daniel was fifth with an 88-94—182.
