Women's Golf rallies past Thomas More (Ky.) in two-day Ryder Cup-style match

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Ohio Northern women's golf team won the Atlantic Ocean Classic, a Ryder Cup-style match with Thomas More (Ky.), by a tiebreaker Tuesday and Wednesday at the Harbor Golf Course.
The Polar Bears (14-20 overall) and the Saints tied at 6.25-6.25, but ONU took the tiebreaker by winning the front 9 singles competition on Wednesday.
Freshman Alexis Miller (Wayne/Elmwood) led Ohio Northern by winning 2.0 points in the tournament.
Junior Madison Dramis (Huber Heights/Wayne) won 1.5 points and senior Heather Comer (DeGraff/Riverside) won 1.0 point.
All three ladies won their singles matches on Saturday to lead ONU from a 3.75-1.75 deficit after the first day of competition.
The Polar Bears will return to action April 1-2 when they host the Polar Bear Classic at Colonial Golfers Club.
