Juniors Ariana Tomasula and Jennifer Hipskind named Academic All-OAC in Women's Golf

ADA -- Juniors Ariana Tomasula and Jennifer Hipskind have been named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in women's golf for the 2016 season.
Award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50.
Tomasula, an Accounting major from Rocky River, earns her first Academic All-OAC accolade.
The junior finished tied for fifth of 40 golfers in the OAC Championships after finishing 84-85-89--258.
She fired a season-low 84 in the first round of the OAC Tournament. Tomasula also finished second at the OAC Preview.
In 15 rounds in 2016, Tomasula had a team-low 87.5 average.
Hipskind is a Pharmacy major from Fort Wayne, Indiana and earned her second Academic All-OAC honor in 2016.
Hipskind saw her highest finish at the Heidelberg Spring Invitational where she finished tied for tenth after firing a 99-93--192.
She ranked sixth on the team with a 96.4 average.
Northern finished third at the OAC Championships under third-year head coach Chad Bucci.
