Tomasula, Conley lead Women's Golf to second place finish at UNOH Racer Invitational

LIMA — Sophomore Ariana Tomasula and senior Megan Conley each posted top-5 finishes to lead the Ohio Northern women's golf team to a second place finish at the Northwestern Ohio Racer Invitational Tuesday at Hawthorne Hills Golf Club.
The Polar Bears (11-13 overall) finished with 364 strokes. Northwestern Ohio won the tri-match with 348 strokes and Defiance was third with 432 strokes.
Tomasula finished second out of 14 golfers with an 85 on the par-72, 6320-yard course.
Conley was fourth with an 87.
Sophomore Hannah Whisler tied for eighth with a 94, sophomore Heather Comer was 11th with a 98 and freshman Brittany Holub was 13th with a 109.
Ohio Northern will return to action this weekend with the Polar Bear Invitational at Colonial Golfers Club.
Tee times start at 2 pm on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday.
