Freshman Hannah Whisler ties career low to lead Women's Golf at Mount Union Spring Invitational

ALLIANCE -- The Ohio Northern women's golf team finished seventh of 12 teams at the Mount Union Spring Invitational on Saturday at Tannenhauf Golf Course.
The Polar Bears (19-43 overall) finished with 381 strokes on the par-72, 5900-yard course.
Freshman Hannah Whisler tied her career-low with an 87 to lead ONU and finish tied for ninth out of 65 golfers.
Junior Allison Fye tied for 33rd with a 97, junior Megan Conley tied for 37th with a 98, freshman Ariana Tomasula tied for 39th with a 99 and freshman Jennifer Hipskind tied for 49th with an 105.
Baldwin Wallace won the team title with a 350, Wooster was second with a 354 and Mount Union was third with a 360.
Playing as an individual, Otterbein's Kathryn Rogers won Medalist honors with an 82.
The Polar Bears will return to action March 29-30 at the Capital Spring Invitational.
