Women's Golf sits fourth of seven teams at midway point of 2013 OAC Championships

TIFFIN — Ohio Northern sits in fourth place out of seven teams after the first round of the 2013 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships at Mohawk Country Club on Saturday.
The Polar Bears (15-23 overall) shot an even 400 on the first day on the par-73, 5856-yard course.
Sophomore Allison Fye is tied for seventh out of 33 golfers with a 90 to lead ONU.
Sophomore Megan Conley is 14th with a 94, freshman Courtney Knippen is 19th with a 102, freshman Bethany Kludt is 29th with a 114 and junior Alyssa Mason is 32nd with a 121 in her first collegiate round.
Otterbein holds the team lead with a 339, Mount Union is second with a 365, Capital is third with a 375 and Heidelberg is fifth with a 410.
The second and final round will get underway on Sunday at 9 am.
