Sophomore Megan Conley posts top-10 finish to lead Women's Golf at annual ONU Spring Invitational

HARROD — Sophomore Megan Conley finished tied for seventh out of 36 golfers to lead the Ohio Northern women's golf team at the annual ONU Spring Invitational tournament Friday-Saturday at Colonial Golfers Club.
Conley carded a 47-84—131 for the 27 holes and her final round 18-hole score of 84 on Saturday tied for the second-lowest score of the day.
Sophomore Allison Fye tied for 20th with a 44-103—147 and freshman Courtney Knippen tied for 23rd with a 50-99—149.
The first round was shortened to nine holes due to wet playing conditions from heavy rains the night before.
Otterbein won the team title, edging Baldwin Wallace 513-514.
Ursuline's Chasey Rotondo won Medalist honors with a 40-85—125.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their 2012-13 season next Saturday-Sunday with the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Heidelberg at the Mohawk Country Club in Tiffin.
