Women's Bowling finishes 13th at American Heartland Bowling Conference V tournament

WATERFORD, Mich. — Junior Cindy Durliat (Findlay/Liberty Benton) had a 5-game series of 782 to the Ohio Northern women's bowling team at the American Heartland Bowling Conference V tournament on Saturday.

The Basics

• Ohio Northern finished 13th of 14 teams with 4,209 pins.
• Venue: Spins Bowl / Century Lanes - Waterford, Mich.

ONU Individuals

• Junior Cindy Durliat (Findlay/Liberty Benton) led the Polar Bears with an average of 156.4 per game. She would finish in 36th place.
• Freshman Olivia Nastasi (Howard/East Knox) was 48th overall with a 5-game series of 700, an average of 140.0 pins per game. 
• Sophomore Emily Seckel (Marion/Pleasant) had a 634 for four games with a team-best 186 game (twice).

Notables

• The team knocked down 3445 pins in 5 regular games, an average of 137.8 pins per game.
• Northern then rolled a 764 (152.8 ave) for 5 baker games.
• Davenport (Mich.) won the team title with 5548 pins, Lawrence tech (Mich.) was second with 5402 pins and Concordia (Mich.) was third with 5208 pins.
• This was the ninth of 10 events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
• Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
