Senior Amy Bullimore named First Team Academic All-District 7 by the College Sports Information Directors of America

ADA — Senior women's basketball standout Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) has been named First Team Academic All-District 7 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for the 2017-18 season.
The All-District teams were released on Thursday afternoon and Bullimore represented Ohio Northern on the list.
The 2017-18 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
All First-Team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in March.
Bullimore, an Exercise Physiology major, has put her mark on the Ohio Northern women's basketball program this season, becoming the schools all-time leader in points scored (1,440) and rebounds (873). She also ranks second all-time at Ohio Northern with 170 career blocks.
The senior led the team and points, rebounds, blocked shots and steals during the course of the season and helped guide Northern to its fourth consecutive regular season Ohio Athletic Conference Title and No. 1 seed in the OAC Tournament in 2017-18.
The Polar Bears return to action tonight as they welcome No. 4-seeded Otterbein to the ONU Sports Center for a 7:30 pm tipoff in the semifinals of the OAC Tournament.
