No. 14 Women's Basketball remains perfect in OAC play with 66-42 victory at Otterbein

WESTERVILLE — Senior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) had a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds to lead No. 14-ranked Ohio Northern to a 66-42 women's basketball victory at Otterbein on Wednesday night at the Rike Center.
The Polar Bears (11-1 overall, 5-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) remain in first place in the league with their 11th consecutive victory.
The Cardinals (6-6, 2-3) were led by Kiersten Taylor with 16 points and eight rebounds.
Senior Lindsey Black (Urbana/Graham) chipped in 10 poiunts for ONU.
Bullimore's double-double is her sixth of the season and the 27th of her career.
Leading 12-10, Ohio Northern opened the second quarter on a 15-2 run to take a commanding 27-12 lead with 5:25 left in the half.
Northern would take a 35-23 lead into intermission.
The lead would bounce between 18 and 10 points in the third quarter.
A 10-0 run in the fourth quarter would extend the lead to 62-40 with 4:35 left and ONU would cruize to the victory.
Ohio Northern made 24-of-68 field goals for 35.3 percent and was 5-of-17 from 3-point range for 29.4 percent and Otterbein was limited to 15-of-57 shooting from the floor for 26.3 percent and was 5-of-20 from beyond the arc for 25.0 percent.
ONU dominated the rebounding battle by a 57-34 margin.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday in a battle of OAC unbeatens when undefeated and No. 18-ranked Marietta comes to the ONU Sports Center for a 3 pm contest.
