ADA — The No. 7-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team rebounded in its second contest of the young season, as it defeated St. Mary's (Ind.) 84-48 on Saturday afternoon on the final day of the North Park (Ill.) Invitational in Chicago, Ill.
The Polar Bears improve to 1-1 overall, while the Belles fall to 0-2.
With the victory, head coach Michele Durand becomes ONU's all-time winningest coach in ONU women's basketball history.
Durand entered the 2017-18 season tied with Gayle Lauth with 275 career wins.
Durand, who is in her 17th season at Ohio Northern, is now 276-159.
