Senior Angela Tesny, juniors Courtney Cramer and Shannon Jack named Academic All-OAC in Women's Basketball

ADA — Senior Angela Tesny (Medina) and juniors Courtney Cramer (Arcadia) and Shannon Jack (Akron/St. Vincent St. Mary) each were named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference for the 2016-17 basketball season.
Tesny, a 2-time letterwinner and Mechanical Engineering major, earned the honor for the third time in her career.
The senior appeared in 28 games this season, making starts in nine games.
Tesny averaged 2.6 points per contest, 1.9 rebounds per game and dished out 1.4 assists per game for the Polar Bears.
Cramer, a Marketing major, earned the honor for the second consecutive season.
The junior appeared in and started all 31 games for ONU in 2016-17.
Cramer ranked fifth on the team with 6.3 points per game, was second on the team with 36 made 3-point field goals and ranked third on the team with 27 steals this season.
Cramer was named the OAC Tournament Most Valuable Player for her efforts.
Jack, a Public Relations major, was named Academic All-OAC in her first season as a Polar Bear.
The junior transfer saw action in 17 games this season, while averaging 0.8 points per contest and pulling down 1.2 rebounds per game.
The Polar Bears posted a historic season as they advanced to the Elite 8 for the first time in school history and recorded an undefeated regular season for the first time in school history on their way to a 30-1 record under 16th-year head coach Michele Durand.
