Senior Amanda Lahti and freshman Kylie Asmus named All-Tournament Team as Softball bows out of the OAC Tournament

WESTERVILLE — Sophomore Kirsten Lightel pitched a three hit complete game as the Polar Bears bow out of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament after falling 1-0 to Muskingum Saturday morning at the Otterbein Softball Field in Westerville.
Senior Amanda Lahti and freshman Kylie Asmus earned All-Tournament team honors.
Lahti went 4-for-8 with two runs scored and an RBI in the Tournament.
Asmus led the Polar Bears on the weekend going 3-for-9 with four runs and four RBIs.
Northern concludes it's season 24-19 overall, 11-7 Ohio Athletic Conference.
Muskingum would score the contest only run in the bottom of the first inning as Amy Clark recorded the games only RBI.
Lightel went the distance for ONU recording four strike outs and surrendering just three hits.
Senior Amanda Lahti and sophomores Jenna Hollar and Miranda Huddle led ONU at the dish recording one hit a piece.
On day one of the Tournament, ONU fell to no. 3 seed Muskingum 7-5, before coming back in dominate fashion and knocking off no. 1 seed Otterbein 10-2.
