Junior Adriana Sikora named Second Team All-America in Softball by NFCA

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Adriana Sikora was named Second Team All-America in softball for 2014 in voting conducted by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
She is the 10th ONU player to be named All-America.
A total of 46 players representing 35 schools received the honor.
Sikora was also named First Team All-Central Region, First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference and was named to the All-OAC Tournament Team this year.
She led the OAC this season with 16 home runs, 51 runs scored, 39 RBI, 18 doubles, a 1.016 slugging percentage and a .558 on-base percentage.
Sikora led the team and was third in the OAC in batting with a .480 average and started all 40 games in right field.
Her 16 home runs are the second-most in a single season in ONU history.
The Polar Bears finished 23-19 overall and won a share of the OAC Regular Season crown with a 12-6 record under first-year head coach Ali Hess.
