He ran a career-best 24:37 at the 2017 NCAA Championships on 11/18/17, which now sits as the third-best all-time race in school history ... He has finished in the top-seven in each of his 22 career races ... He was named the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Region Runner of the Year, OAC Runner of the Year, and All-Ohio Runner of the Year in 2017 ... He was also named to the All-Great Lakes Region listing and First-Team in 2017 ... McVey earned First-Team All-OAC and OAC Runner of the Year honors in 2016 after finishing third at the OAC Championships ... Named All-Great Lakes Region in 2016 ...
