No. 25 Men's Cross Country lands OAC Men's Runner of the Year and Coaching Staff of the Year

ADA — The No. 25-ranked Ohio Northern men's cross country team landed the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Runner of the Year and the OAC Coaching Staff of the Year.
Sophomore Ian McVey (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) was named the OAC Men's Runner of the Year after placing third at the OAC Championships, sixth at the Great Lakes Regional meet, and 36th overall at the NCAA III Championships.
McVey posted a 36th place finish at the NCAA III Championships in Louisville, Ky., narrowly missing All-America honors.
Eighth-year head coach Jason Maus and assistant coach Casey Gantt earned OAC Men's Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the second consecutive year after leading the Polar Bears to their second consecutive OAC Championship.
Maus and Gantt also helped guide the Polar Bears to the second best finish in school history at the NCAA III Championships as Northern finished 14th of 32 teams.
