ONU Race Notes: Ohio Northern enters Saturday's meet ranked No. 25 nationally in the final USTFCCCA Poll on Nov. 14 ... The women will run a 6k race at 11 am with the men following with an 8k race at Noon ... The Polar Bears are making their fourth appearance at the NCAA III Championships as a team and their first since 2008 ... ONU finished 11th in 2008, 17th in 2007 and 32nd in 2006 ... This will also mark the 12th consecutive season that Ohio Northern has been represented at the NCAA III Championships by either the men's or women's team or by at least one men's or women's individual qualifier ... The top two teams in each of the eight Regional races received automatic bids to the NCAA III Championships and the NCAA then selected 16 more teams from across the country to receive at-large bids and complete the 32-team NCAA Championships field ... The top 35 individual finishers will earn All-America honors ... Sophomore Ian McVey, seniors Andrew Harden, Kase Schalois and junior Bobby Borger all earned All-Great Lakes Region honors after finishing in the top-35 of the race in a field of 249 runners.
