Men's Cross Country receives votes in third weekly USTFCCCA Coaches Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team received votes in the third weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll, released Sept. 28.
The Polar Bears (8-0) dropped out of the poll after being ranked No. 35 in the second weekly USTFCCCA coaches poll.
Geneseo St. (N.Y.) took over the top spot in the rankings recieving 279 points and seven first place votes, North Central (Ill.) dropped to second with 273 points and one first place vote, and Williams (Mass.) rounded out the top three with 262 points.
ONU was ranked as high as No. 19 last season, when the squad won the OAC Championships title and finished with a 138-9 record.
Ohio Northern will return to action Sept. 30 as they travel to Cedarville to compete in the All-Ohio Championships at 2 pm.
