No. 20 Men's Cross Country finishes 6th of 26 at Oberlin Rumble

OBERLIN — The No. 20-ranked Ohio Northern men's cross country team finished sixth of 32 teams at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday at the Oberlin Cross Country Course.
The Polar Bears (93-6 overall) finished with 171 points.
No. 17-ranked Allegheny (Pa.) won the meet with 88 points, New York U. was second with 103, No. 15 Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) was third with 117, No. 30 Saint Thomas (Minn.) was fourth with 148 and Oberlin was fifth with 159 points.
Junior Andrew Harden led Ohio Northern across the finish line, placing 10th of 281 runners in 24:36 on the 8,000-meter course.
Senior Eric Wymer was 18th in 24:48, freshman Ian McVey was 36th in 25:03, sophomore Bobby Borger was 45th in 25:12 and junior Kase Schalois was 62nd in 25:23.
Oberlin's Geno Aurthur won the race in 24:04.
The Polar Bears will take next weekend off and will return to action Oct. 31 with the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Baldwin Wallace.
