Ohio Northern senior Nathan Rosenbaum to compete at the NCAA III Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Nathan Rosenbaum will compete at the 2014 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday at the Golf Center at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio.
He will compete in the men's 8k race at 11 am. The Women's Championships will follow with a 6k race at 12:30 pm.
The top 35 runners in the race will earn All-America honors.
This is the second time at the NCAA III Championships for Rosenbaum, who finished 152nd last year in 26:14.
He qualified for this year's championships with a 7th place finish at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional Championships last Saturday on the same course in a career-best 24:43.
That time makes him the third-fastest runner in ONU history.
Rosenbaum is also the reigning NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Elite 89 Award winner, which is given to the participant with the highest GPA at each of the NCAA's 89 Championships events.
He is also a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, a two-time All-Region honoree and a First team Academic All-American.
Ohio Northern head coach Jason Maus is in his 6th season as head coach with a 606-147
record, a winning percentage of .805.
