Three finish in top-10 to lead Men's Cross Country to second place finish at Vanderbilt Invitational

NASHVILLE (Ten.) -- Senior Mark Berton, senior Tyler Feitshans and junior Nathan Rosenbaum all finished in the top-10 to lead the Ohio Northern men's cross country team at the Vanderbilt Invitational on Saturday.
The Polar Bears finished second of 13 teams in the non-Division I meet with 48 points.
Texas A&M Commerce finished first with 43 points.
Berton led the Polar Bears across the finish line with a fourth place finish, navigating the 8,000-meter course in 26:06.08.
Rosenbaum finished seventh in 26:21.07 and Feitshans was 10th, crossing the tape in 26:23.83.
Seniors Mathew Johnson and Jeff Denny finished 13th and 14th, with times of 26:29.85 and 26:33.78, respectively.
Sophomore William Huddleston finished 16th in 26:40.28 and freshman Cully Gordon finished 19th in 26:40.47.
The Polar Bears finished with enough points to defeat Ole Miss, Marshall, Vanderbilt, Western Kentucky and five other Division I schools.
Ohio Northern will return to competition on October 4, when it takes part in the All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville.
