Keegan Digby earns his fourth All-America honor with third place finish in shot put on final day of NCAA III Indoor Men's Track and Field Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Senior Keegan Digby (Bowling Green/Otsego) earned All-American honors in the shot put for the fourth time in career, finishing third with a record-breaking heave of 17.83 meters, to lead the Ohio Northern men on the final day of the 2024 NCAA III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

- On Friday, junior All-American Jordan Dean (Cleveland/Villa Angela Saint Joseph) broke his own school record in the 400 in 48.33.
- Dean finished second of four runners in his heat and was 12th of 20 overall with a school record effort of 48.33 seconds
- He entered the meet ranked No. 8 nationally. The eight fastest times in the 400 prelims advanced to the finals.

- Fifth-year senior Hunter Kesler (Paulding), junior Ross Schlatter (Curtice/Genoa), senior Trey Myers (Dayton/Chaminade-Julienne) and Dean won their heat of 4x400 relay, but were disqualified for running on the lane line.
- Kesler, Schlatter, Myers, and Dean initially finished seventh in 3:15.15 in the 4x400, which would have broken the school record by 2.23 seconds. That came a week after shaving 1.45 seconds off their time to qualify for the meet in 3:17.48.
- The 4x400 team entered the meet ranked No. 11 nationally. This was the team's first appearance at the Indoor Championships after competing at the 2023 Outdoor Championships last spring.
- Dean posted the fastest leg of any of the 48 runners in the prelims, finishing the final leg in 47.19.
- The top 20 individuals and the top 12 relays received bids to participate at the NCAA Championships.
- The top eight finishers in each event earn All-America status.
- Head Coach Jason Maus is in his 15th year at Ohio Northern and is 658-157 with men's indoor track and field for a winning percentage of .808.
