Meet Preview: Select members of the Ohio Northern men's track and field team are competing in The Monday Meet hosted by Indiana Tech at Warrior Park in Fort Wayne, Ind. … Northern has entrants in the pole vault, high jump, long jump, triple jump, 100 meters, 200 meters, 110-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles and 4x100 relay … The field events begin at 11:30 a.m., and the running events begin at 2 p.m. … The Polar Bears are coming off the two-day Bob Kahn Invitational at Oberlin on Friday and Saturday, which was not team scored … Seniors Andrew Buderer and Luke Shellhaas and junior Brandt Marshall posted a 1-2-3 finish in the pole vault … Northern posted victories in five other events courtesy of fifth-year seniors Travis Sutter (3,000-meter steeplechase) and Jack Lehr (discus), senior Sam Krabacher (1,500 meters) and sophomores Trey Myers (800 meters) and Keegan Digby (shot put) … Digby's mark of 15.19 meters in the shot put ranks third all-time at ONU, and he added a third-place finish in the hammer throw … Lehr also placed second in the javelin throw and third in the shot put … Sophomore Tommy Vetrovsky placed second in the hammer throw with a mark of 46.96 meters, which ranks ninth in program history, and added a third-place finish in the discus throw … Junior Breydan Hann placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase … Sophomore Gabe Hensley finished second in the triple jump, and freshman Ross Schlatter was second in the 400 meters … Freshman Ryan Massie was third in the 1,500 meters, and freshman Tyrese Barker was third in the high jump … The 4x400 relay team of Myers, Schlatter and sophomores Canyon Neundorfer and Ian Wallace finished in third place.
