This Weekend's Preview: The Ohio Northern men's track and field team will compete in the 3rd Annual George Glass Invitational hosted by Taylor University in Upland, Ind. on Saturday afternoon ... The meet will kick off at 11 a.m. with the women's javelin throw and the men's pole vault ... Running events will begin at 11:30 a.m., starting with the women's 4x800-meter relay, followed by the men's 4x800-meter relay ... All running events will be scored as finals ... The Polar Bears enter the meet after competing in the Otterbein April Fools Invitational and posting a fifth place team finish ... Junior Spencer Schulze paced the Polar Bears in the meet, finishing second in the 5,000-meter run in 15:18.08 ... In the 4x100-meter relay, the team of senior Brandon Emert, sophomore Jared Butcher and freshmen Herrio Joseph and Owen Lloyd finished third in an impressive :45.48 ... Emert and Butcher also teamed up with sophomore Cody Benny and freshman Gabe Dauch and finished second in the 4x400-meter in 3:23.33 ... Senior Alex Sibila had the best individual finish in the field events, finishing second in the high jump with a leap of 6' 2.00".
