Men's Outdoor Track & Field picked to finish third in OAC standings

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's outdoor track and field team has been selected to finish third in the team standings in the annual Ohio Athletic Conference coaches poll voted on by the leagues 10 head coaches.
The Polar Bears received 68 points in the poll, while John Carroll edged Northern for second place with 70 points and one first place vote, and Mount Union was picked to win the men's title with 81 points and nine first place votes.
Northern finished second in the outdoor standings a season ago and posted its fourth consecutive top-3 finish.
ONU opens its 2018 campaign on Saturday, Mar. 24 as it competes in the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational.
