Preview: The Ohio Northern men's track and field team will look to have continued success Saturday afternoon at the Centre (Ky.)Invitational ... Last week the Polar Bears claimed a second place finish at the Cedarville Invitational claiming seven first place finishes in the meet ... Senior Christian Rupe led the way claiming first place finishes in the 100-meter run (11.05), 200-meter run (22.11) and teamed up with junior Denorris Turner, senior Jojuan Fisher, and sophomore Brandon Emert to win the 4x100 (42.61) ... Senior Eric Wymer also garnered a first place finish in the 5,000-meter (15:17.52), while sophomore Brandon Ike won the pole vault (13 feet 7.75 inches) ...Sophomore Matt Molinaro also had a strong performance at the Raleigh Relays, finishing fifth in the 800-meter run with an NCAA national qualifying and personal best time of 1:50.95 ... Northern will look to be led this weekend by junior Cully Gordon, Molinaro, junior Kase Schalois, junior Lucas Shumate, junior Zane Augustine and sophomore Alexander Sibila.
