Sophomore Matt Molinaro named the Ohio Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Matt Molinaro was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week for the week of March 21-27.

The sophomore claimed a fifth place finish at the Raleigh Relays in the 800-meter run with an NCAA national qualifying and personal best time of 1:50.95.

He currently holds the fastest time in the nation in the event.

Molinaro also had success in the 1,500-meter run finishing 26th overall with a personal best time of 3:54.17.

The Polar Bears return to action Saturday as they compete at the Centre (Ky.) Invitational.
