Dan Arkin and Ryan Brancheau lead Men's Track & Field at Ohio Wesleyan Ron Althoff Invitational

DELAWARE — Sophomore Dan Arkin and senior Ryan Brancheau lead the Ohio Northern men's outdoor track & field team at the non-scoring Althoff Invitational Monday and Tuesday located on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University at the George Gauthier Track.
The Polar Bear (57-5 overall) had six individuals place in the meet.
Arkin palced first in the javelin with a throw of 196'02", while Brancheau claimed first in the high jump with a leap of 6'05.5".
Sophomore Lucas Shumate finished third in the hammer throw with a pitch of 175'08".
In the high jump, freshman Alex Sibila also garnered a top finish, as he finished fourth with a height of 6'01.50".
Junior Eric Wymer claimed second in the 1,500-meter run in 4:08.04 and sophomore Cully Gordon finished fifth in the 5,000-meter run in 15:49.2.
Ohio Northern will wrap up its regular season next Thursday-Friday at the North Central Gregory Invitational.
