Members of Track & Field compete at Gregory Invitiational

NAPERVILLE (Ill.) -- Junior Catie Huber broke the school record in the 1,500-meter run to lead select members of the Ohio Northern track & field team at the Gregory Invitational.
The meet was unscored.
Huber finished third in the race in 4:36.18, better the previous school record of 4:38.76, set by Lydia Weaver last season.
Senior Josh Colbert won the long jump, posting a leap of 6.88 meters.
The 4x100-meter relay team of senior Francisque Pierre-Jerome, sophomore Jojuan Fisher, sophomore Christian Rupe and Colbert finished second 41.82 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay team of junior James Rader, junior Jonathan Roseler, freshman Patrick Jeffries and Rupe finished fourth in 3:16.22.
Junior Gabrielle Metzner finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.79 seconds.
Senior Mark Berton recorded a 15th place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:41.09 and senior Laura Avino finished 18th in the 800-meter run in 2:22.79.
This was the final team meet of the season for the Polar Bears.
The field for the NCAA III Championships on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan from May 22-24 will be announced on Monday.
