Members of Track & Field take part in Pointer Qualifier Meet

STEVENS POINT (Wis.) -- Select members of the Ohio Northern track & field team competed in the Pointers Qualifier Meet on the campus of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday.
The meet was unscored.
Senior Josh Colbert finished seventh in the long jump, leaping 6.65 meters.
Junior Nate Rosenbaum finished ninth in the 5,000-meter run in 15:32.66 and senior Mark Berton was 10th in the 3,000-meter run in 9:03.18.
In the 400-meter dash, junior Jonathan Roseler was 10th in 50.30 seconds and junior James Rader was 29th in 52.14 seconds.
The 4x400-meter tandem of senior Evan McKee, sophomore Christian Rupe, freshman Patrick Jeffries and Roseler was 12th in 3:29.09.
Junior Ryan Brancheau cleared 1.93 meters in the high jump, which tied him for 12th place and junior Phil Farwig finished 12th in the weight throw with a distance of 15.11 meters.
The 1-Mile run saw junior Kyle Wagner finish 20th in 4:26.99 and junior Dan Steigerwald finishing right behind in 21st in 4:31.39.
Junior Gabrielle Metzner crossed the finish line in the 60 hurdles in 9.45 seconds.
This is the final indoor meet for the Polar Bears, who will open their outdoor season on Mar. 21-22 at the Washington & Lee (Va.) Carnival.
