Select members of the Track & Field teams compete at North Central's (Ill.) Keeler Invite
NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Four members of the Ohio Northern track & field teams competed in Day 1 of the Dr. Keeler Invitational, hosted by North Central (Ill.) at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium on Thursday.
Three athletes posted personal records at the unscored event.
On the men's side, senior Joe Gutter finished sixth in the hammer throw at 170-0. Junior Kenton Holliday posted a personal record in the 5,000 run at 15:33.15.
For the women, junior Casey Adamcik beat her personal record in the 5,000 run by 50 seconds with a finish of 18:40.04. Junior Sarah Turley finished five seconds ahead of her personal record in the same event, crossing the finish line in 18:55.47.
The Polar Bears remain in Naperville for Day 2 of the Dr. Keeler Invitational on Friday. Events are set to begin at 3 p.m.
