Men's Track & Field have four place first at the 2012 Kenyon Spring Invitational

GAMBIER - Four top spot finishes highlighted the Ohio Northern men's track and field team's outing at the unscored 2012 Kenyon Spring Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Senior Dan Smith finished in the top spot in the 800 run in 1:56.83, while fellow senior Joe Gutter took first in the hammer throw at 40.50 meters.
Freshman Ryan Brancheau earned first place in the high jump, clearing 1.92 meters.
The 4x400 team of James Rader, Evan McKee, Richard Patterson and Cory Bailey took first in 3:27.57.
Bailey also tallied a second place finish in the 800 run in 1:58.94.
Sophomore Francisque Pierre-Jerome had two second-place finishes on the day, one in the 100 dash (11.14) and the other in the 200 dash (22.44).
Freshman Jonathan Roseler finished third in both the 100 dash (11.19) and the 200 dash (22.54).
Also earning third place in his even was junior JoJo Entsuah in the hammer throw (40.50 meters) and sophomore Thomas Steinberger in the high jump (11.86 meters).
Ohio Northern competes at the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, next Friday and Saturday at Wilmington. Day 1 begins at noon and day 2 is slated for a 10 a.m. start.
