Smith named OAC Runner of the Week for Men's Track

ADA - Ohio Northern senior Dan Smith was named Ohio Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for men's track for the week of April 9-14.

Smith turned in a stellar performance in the 1,500 run Friday night at Ohio State's Jesse Owens Track Classic. He finished 11th in 3:50.00.

That time is not only the best on the team in that event, but also ranks second nationally on the 2012 D-III Outdoor Qualifier list.

The men's track & field team (28-18 overall) are next at the Kenyon Invitational on Saturday.
