Men's Tennis opens spring schedule with 7-0 loss at Division II foe Findlay

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2022-23 schedule on Sunday with a 7-0 loss at NCAA Division II foe Finday at the Findlay YMCA.
The Polar Bears fall to 1-2, while the host Oilers improve to 2-4.
UF swept the doubles courts, winning 6-2, 6-2 and 6-1 to lead 1-0 heading into singles play.
Sophomore Tristan Munteanu (Draper, Utah / Corner Canyon) put up a terrific fight ay No. 1 singles before falling 6-4, 6-4.
Freshman Nico Rogel (Alicante, Spain / Hoosac) was also competitive at No. 6 singles, eventually dropping a 6-2, 7-5 decision.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday with a 5 pm contest against NAIA foe Spring Arbor (Mich.) back at the Findlay YMCA.
