Monday's Match: The Ohio Northern men's tennis team will wrap up the OAC portion of its 2017-18 schedule on Monday with a 12:15 match at Otterbein ... The match was moved up from its original 3:30 pm start due to rain forecast for the late afternoon and evening ... With a victory, ONU would clinch the No. 3 seed in next weekend's OAC Tournament ... With a loss, ONU could be either the #3, 4 or 5 seed ... The Polar Bears are coming off a 3-0 record last weekend at the OAC Tennis Fest at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason ... ONU defeated Muskingum and Marietta 9-0 in OAC play and topped Wittenberg 5-4 in non-conference action ... With the three victories, ONU clinched a winning season and a spot in the OAC Tournament for the first time since 2014 ... Thus far this season, freshman Hoang Do and freshman Vinh Thai lead the Polar Bears with 12-7 and 11-7 singles records, respectively ... In doubles play, sophomore Connor Christian is 14-7 and Do and Thai are each 13-9 ... Overall, Do is 25-16 and Thai is 24-16 on the season ... Otterbein enters today's match off a tight 5-4 victory over Capital on Sunday ... OU won two of the three doubles matches and split the singles courts to pick up the victory ... Riley Yost and Tyler Wharton lead the Cardinals with 12 singles wins each ... Jared Deel and Connor Radune are each 10-7 in doubles play and Yost has a team-best 19-9 overall record.
