Men's Tennis falls to John Carroll 8-1

LIMA -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team fell to John Carroll 8-1 in a non-conference match on Saturday afternoon indoors at the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center.
The Polar Bears fall to 9-7 overall and 3-2 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Blue Streaks improve to 7-7, 5-0.
Freshman Vinh Thai (Galloway/Saint Charles) led Northern with a 6-4, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles.
JCU swept the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead, then won singles courts 2-6 to go up 8-0 before Thai ended the match on a high note for ONU.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Tuesday with an OAC contest at Otterbein.
