Kargl, Thai, Do post victories but Men's Tennis falls to Trine (Ind.), 6-3

LIMA — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team vs. Trine (Ind.) on Sunday afternoon indoors and the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center.
The Polar Bears fall to 6-4 on the season, while the Thunder improve to 3-7.
The Thunder swept the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead, but junior Tim Kargl (Downers Grove, Ill./South) responded with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles to make it 3-1.
TU clinched the match with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles to go ahead 5-1.
Freshman Vinh Thai (Galloway/St. Charles) won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
Freshman Hoang Do (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) rallied for a 2-6, 6-2, 10-1 victory at No. 2 singles.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Wednesday with a 4 pm match at Adrian (Mich.)
