Men's Tennis sweeps Muskingum, Marietta at OAC Tennis Fest

MASON -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team swept Muskingum and Marietta by 9-0 scores on the second and final day of the OAC Tennis Fest on Saturday at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
The Polar Bears are 10-7 overall and 2-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
ONU swept all 18 courts in the two victories.
Sophomore Tim Kargl (Downers Grove, Ill./South) won twice at No. 1 singles and combined with freshman Andrew Garcia (Downers Grove, Ill/South) to win twice at No. 1 doubles.
Garcia also went 4-0 on the day with a 2-0 record at No. 3 singles.
Junior David Hayman (Westerville/South), sophomore Jacob Abbott (Kenton) and freshman Tyler Frantz (Bellefontaine) also went 4-0.
Hayman was 2-0 at No. 2 singles, Abbott was 2-0 at No. 4 singles and the pair were 2-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Frantz was 2-0 at No. 5 singles and combined with junior Cody Hurley (Centerville) to go 2-0 at No. 3 doubles.
Senior Dan Warren (Tallahassee, Fla./Lincoln) and sophomore Lance Brown (Dayton/Stebbins) each won a match at No. 6 singles.
The Polar Bears will return to action Tuesday with an OAC match at Baldwin Wallace.
