David Hayman leads Men's Tennis in 8-1 loss to Mount Union

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team fell to Mount Union 8-1 on Saturday afternoon at University Courts.
The Polar Bears are now 7-7 overall and 0-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The Purple Raiders remain undefeated in the OAC at 4-0, and move to 11-3 overall.
Sophomore David Hayman (Westerville/South) had a great day for the Polar Bears, winning 7-5, 4-6 and 10-6 in the third set tie-breaker at No. 3 singles.
Mount Union swept the three doubles matches to go up 3-0, then won the first five singles matches to post the victory.
Ohio Northern will play this Thursday and Friday at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason at the OAC Tennis Fest.
The Polar Bears will have matches with Ohio Christian, Muskingum and Marietta.
