Men's Tennis to open spring portion of its schedule Feb. 19 at Olivet (Mich.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team will open the spring portion of its 2016-17 schedule on Feb. 19 at Olivet (Mich.) under first-year head coach Mike Bonnell.

The Polar Bears will also play a tri-match at Penn State-Behrend and Pitt-Bradford in Erie, Pa., on Feb. 25 before their annual Spring Break trip south a week later.

Northern will open its road trip with matches at Berea (Ky.) and at Emory & Henry (Va.) on March 4-5 before playing several matches at Hilton Head, S.C. Mar. 6-10.

ONU will open the home portion of its schedule on Mar. 16 against Adrian (Mich.) and will open Ohio Athletic Conference play at John Carroll on April 1.

The OAC Tournament will be held May 2-6 with the quarterfinals at campus sites and the semifinals and finals at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason.
