MASON -- The Ohio Northern men's tennis team saw its season come to a close with a 5-2 loss to top seed Otterbein on Friday afternoon at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
ONU closes its season at 12-6, while the Cardinals are now 17-4.
Otterbein also advances to the OAC Tournament finals on Saturday.
The Cardinals raced out to a 3-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles courts.
Sophomore John Mostowy got Northern on the board with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles.
Freshman Alex Starr followed with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles, cutting Otterbein's lead to 3-2.
But the Cardinals reeled off two straight wins to clinch the match.
