ADA -- Ohio Northern has been selected to host the 2015 NCAA III Men's and Women's Tennis Championships on May 18-23 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason.
"The partnership between the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Wilmington College and Ohio Northern University has been key in hosting the annual Ohio Athletic Conference Tennis Championships," said Scott Wills, Ohio Northern University's Women's Tennis Coach and Ohio Athletic Conference Tennis Chair. "We look forward to continuing this partnership and to providing for a great student-athlete experience for the 2015 championships."
Since 1994, this will be the eighth NCAA Championship that ONU has hosted and 23rd overall NCAA III Tournament event.
"This is an incredible honor," said Tom Simmons, Athletic Director at Ohio Northern. "The NCAA is very particular about its hosts and know that we will provide the student-athlete with a event to remember."
The Lindner Family Tennis Center serves as host to the Western & Southern Open, one of the 10 largest tennis tournaments in the world.
The facility has also served as the host for the men's and women's OAC Tournament Championships since 2007.
