Four named to Men's Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference At-Large team

ADA — Four Ohio Northern student/athletes were named to the Men's Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference At-Large team for 2011-12 in voting conducted by the league's 10 faculty advisors.
Juniors Jeff Zeleznik and Joey Frank were named Academic All-OAC, while senior Nick Meyer and junior Marc Anderson were named Honorable Mention Academic All-Conference.
The At-Large team consists of student/athletes that compete in swimming and diving, golf, tennis and wrestling.
Zeleznik is a exercise physiology major from Strongsville and is a three-year letterman on the swimming and diving team.
He is a three-time All-Conference honoree, earning the award in the 200 breast, the 400 I.M. and the 1650 free.
Zeleznik has also scored points at the OAC Championships meet for Ohio Northern in the 500 free and the 200 I.M. events.
Frank is a pharmaceutical business major from Columbus and is a two-time OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year.
He is also a three-time First Team All-OAC honoree.
This season, Frank went 19-7 in singles, was a team-best 19-7 in doubles and was 38-14 overall.
Frank will enter his senior season with a 55-20 singles record, a 60-22 record in doubles and a 115-42 overall record.
He ranks 10th all-time in singles wins, is 10th in doubles wins and is 10th in overall wins at ONU.
Meyer is a civil engineering major from Cleves and is a four-year letterman on the swimming and diving team.
He is a 2-time OAC champion and a 6-time All-OAC honoree in diving for the Polar Bears.
He won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving titles at the 2012 OAC Championships after earning All-OAc honors in both events in 2010 and again in 2011.
Anderson is a four-time OAC Champion as a member of the swimming and diving squad.
A electrical engineering major from Napoleon, Anderson won the OAC crown in the 100 fly in 2011.
He has also won three OAC titles as a member of ONU's relay teams.
Anderson was also named All-Conference in the 100 and 200 fly events this winter.
