Men's Tennis riding four-match winning streak with 8-1 over Mount Union

ALLIANCE - The Ohio Northern men's tennis team extended its winning streak to four matches following an 8-1 win over Mount Union on Saturday afternoon at Whitehill Tennis Courts.
The Polar Bears improve to 7-4 overall and remain undefeated in the OAC with a 5-0 record. The Purple Raiders fall to 9-7 and 2-3 in the league.
Northern won 2-of-3 doubles courts, with senior Andrew Korba and sophomore Blake Troller winning No. 2 doubles, 8-2. Senior Nick Kowalczyk and freshman Sam Prewitt defeated Drew LeGrendre and Zach Nelson, 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.
ONU went on to sweep singles, with Kowalczyk, Korba and Troller each won No. 3, 4 and 5 singles respectively.
The Polar Bears are on the road Tuesday for a 4 p.m. match at Marietta.
