Frank, Kowalczyk lead Men's Tennis to 7-2 victory at Otterbein

WESTERVILLE -- Junior Joey Frank and senior Nick Kowalczyk each went 2-0 to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team to a 7-2 Ohio Athletic Conference victory at Ottebein Wednesday afternoon at the Sanders Tennis Courts.
The Polar Bears improve to 4-4 overall and move to 3-0 in OAC action, while the Cardinals fall to 4-10, 2-2.
Northern extends its OAC regular season win streak to 26 matches with the victory.
Frank won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles, Kowalczyk won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and the pair combined to win 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Sophomore Josh Saunders also went 2-0, winning 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 singles and joined with sophomore Blake Troller to win 9-8(4) at No. 2 doubles.
Senior Andrew Korba won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5 singles and junior Mike King won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 6 singles for ONU.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Tuesday at home against OAC foe Heidelberg.
