Frank, Thai win twice as Men's Tennis falls 5-4 at Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD — Junior Joey Frank won twice, including a come-from-behind 3-set win at No. 2 singles, to lead the Ohio Northern men's tennis team in a 5-4 loss at Wittenberg on Tuesday afternoon.
The Polar Bears fall to 0-1, while the Tigers improve to 2-0.
Frank won 6-7(2), 7-5, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and combined with senior Michael Kathary to win 8-6 at No. 1 doubles.
Sophomore Do Thai also posted a pair of victories, winning 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and combining with senior Andrew Korba to win 8-2 at No. 3 doubles.
The Polar Bears will wrap up the fall portion of their schedule this weekend at the ITA Regional Tournament in Saint Louis, Mo.
