Jeff Carter leads Men's Tennis to 9-0 OAC victory at Capital

BEXLEY -- Junior Jeff Carter won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, leading the Ohio Northern men's tennis team to a 9-0 Ohio Athletic Conference victory at Capital Thursday afternoon.
The Polar Bears improve to 6-2 overall and are 1-0 in OAC action, while the Crusaders fall to 1-6, 2-0.
Northern swept all six singles matches and all three doubles matches to earn the win.
Carter picked up his 10th singles win of the season and is now 6-2 at the No. 3 singles spot.
In other singles action, freshman Joey Frank won 6-4, 7-5 at No. 1, sophomore Nick Kowalczyk won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2, sophomore Andrew Korba won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4, junior Kyle Barnaba won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 and sophomore Matt Dutro won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6.
Frank and Kowalczyk won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles, Carter and Korba won 8-3 at No. 2 doubles and Barnaba and Dutro won 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.
The Polar Bears will return to action April 10 at Marietta.
