Bio

Jess DiFrancesco is in her fourth year as the recruiting coordinator for the Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving teams.

She was the first full time assistant swimming coach for ONU during the 2010-2011 season. She was an assistant coach for Youngstown State University during from 2007-2010 and worked at the University of Akron’s aquatics center in 2012-14.

DiFrancesco (Ewald) graduated with honors from Ohio Northern University in 2007 earning her BA in Sports Management and more recently in May 2013 from Akron with a Master of Science in Education.

She was an NCAA qualifier each year of her swimming career at ONU.

She was an integral part of forging the future for the Polar Bear women, serving as a captain and as a SAAC rep for two years, and was part of the first OAC championship title for the women’s program.
