ADA — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team won 10 of the 12 events in a 157-39 victory over Wittenberg on Friday night at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears improve to 2-1 on the season, while the Tigers fall to 1-4.
A trio of ONU swimmers won two events each.

Huey, freshman Ryan Groehl (Marysville), Raker and senior Logan Pfeifer (Bucyrus/Colonel Crawford) wrapped up the victory by winning the 400 free relay in 3:19.48.
"The men have a way of getting up and going whether they are tired or not," ONU head coach Peggy Ewald said. "This was nothing short of that. Tough days of practice this week, racing back to back meets, sets the stage for some good things to come further down the road. This meet has traditionally hit us hard, but tonight the men raced well to take the win. We mixed it up a bit with the line to push some events to see what we'd get, it proved productive."
The Polar Bears are also hosting their annual Swim for Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser on Friday and again on Saturday when they host Oberlin at 1 pm at the ONU Sports Center.
Special event 200-yard relay races will be held during the first diving break of the meet on Saturday against Oberlin. If you wish to donate and participate in a 4 x 50 relay, email assistant coach Helaina Sacco at h-sacco@onu.edu.
